SPINE OPTIONS multidisciplinary non-surgical approach has been developed so that patients receive extensive medical evaluation and care for the back and neck. We offer state-of-the-art non-surgical care combining medical management and pain management, with specialized therapy and alternative techniques. What makes our center unique is the patient centered approach utilizing both modern medicine and alternative techniques. SPINE OPTIONS is under the direction of Bradley S. Cash, MD, Medical Director. Dr. Cash is a Physiatrist ( A physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation) He has extensive training and experience in evaluation and management of neurological, musculoskeletal and chronic pain problems. SPINE OPTIONS is comprised of specialists with a unique interest and expertise to ONLY treat neck and back disorders. Each discipline boasts to be among the best in the region managing chronic pain, neck and back patients. The goal for the specialists is to pinpoint the exact nature of the problem and with a concerted effort, restore maximal pain free function so that the patients may lead a normal existence. A maintenance program is then initiated to prevent recurrences and re-educate patients. The most important benefit of SPINE OPTIONS is that all the specialists work in the same center and meet on a regular basis to evaluate and revise treatment plans. The communication is optimal so the outcomes are improved.

Each person that is evaluated has a different history and has tried a variety of treatments for pain in the past. A very thorough and comprehensive examination is used by the team under the guidance and supervision of the physician, to customize a treatment plan for each individual. Standard protocols are not used. Patients receive only one on one treatment from each of the specialists. The team works closely to provide the most comprehensive, cutting edge, diversified, multi-modal approach available. This theory allows us to pride the wonderful outcomes that we achieved since our inception. The patients state that they feel most comfortable in our facility because all of the specialists are “under one roof”. Unfortunately patient data is lost between specialists due to poor communication. The medical, therapy and alternative approach departments have direct access to each other on a daily basis. We continually discuss and revise our patients treatment plans based on the ever changing status of the individual on a day to day basis.

As a Non-Surgical Center, the goal is to keep the patients out of the operating room. We take a very safe approach to treating neck and back disorders. It is essential to realize that a patient may be harmed if the technique of pain management is not orchestrated properly. It is extremely important to rule out any serious medical causes of the pain before treatment is initiated. Many people that try to self treat may be putting themselves at high risk of danger if the proper evaluation is not done. All patients undergo an extensive evaluation and many need testing prior to treatment. After the program starts we can see how the quality of life and comfort level is improving week to week. We hope that all of our patients are able to return to their previous level of function (ie return to sporting activities and work) and are able to prevent recurrences after completion of a successful program.
